The Hut
At the gateway to the high mountains and the normal route of Mont Blanc, the Nid d'Aigle refuge welcomes hikers and families who come to contemplate the incredible panorama and the surroundings of the Bionnassay glacier.
Located near the arrival of the Mont Blanc Tramway, the Nid d'Aigle refuge, built in an arc, is particularly well integrated into the landscape.
The refuge team welcomes you, with family or friends, for a first unique experience in a high mountain refuge, offering you a varied and gourmet catering.
You will appreciate our terrace which is conducive to contemplation: located opposite the Pointe Percée (highest point of the Aravis massif), and dominated by the Aiguilles du Goûter (3,863 m) and Bionnassay (4,052m). The impressive Bionnassay glacier is just a stone's throw away: early risers will probably come across an ibex on its moraine.
Mountaineers who come down late from the roof of Europe will still be welcomed: they can even reward themselves with a fondue!

For hygiene reasons, individual bag sheets are mandatory. On sale at the refuge for 10 euros.

There are 8 places in the winter dormitory with a few blankets. No gas. 8 euros to be paid in the trunk.
